I'm swimming the length of the Channel!

I am part of a group of 12 students spending 2 months in Uganda this summer. Whilst we're there we'll be working on the construction of a Children's Village for orphans.

In order to buy materials and pay local labourers, before we go we need to raise about £12000, so I've decided to raise some money by doing a sponsored swim.

Over the next 6 weeks I'll be swimming the equivalent of Dover to Calais, which is 22 miles - 1416 lengths in a 25 metre pool!

I'll try to update this blog after every swim.
